YOUTH ACADEMY

   FCC is committed to
the Youth Academy Philosophy that focuses on the development of young soccer players through the “Golden Years of Learning”.  The Youth Academy program is designed to create a training atmosphere for our young players to continue developing valuable technical skills in a low stress environment.

The Academy Program will allow our players and families to smoothly transition into the full travel program while continuing to focus on individual player development.

The Program will consist of a pool of players at each age group selected and trained
by the club’s Technical Staff and Staff Coaches.

The Academy Program is a 8 month program with both Fall AND Spring seasons.

What the program offers:

  • Professional Coaches
  • Team training 2 days/week, plus High Performance Training night
  • More focus on "individual development"
  • 10-15 games per season
  • Participation in at least one tournament.
  • Smooth transition for recreation/JAP players to competitive program

Training Format:

Players are identified and grouped by birth year and ability. The staff will teach and develop these players to have the confidence and the technical ability to enjoy the game. All training is theme and curriculum based in order to achieve basic fundamentals necessary within the game.

The practice format will institute a station style of pool training. The training will consist of either stations that vary within the theme or a session headed up by a Senior Coaching Staff member. All coaching by paid professional staff.

Eligibility:

Any 2013 (U10) or 2015 (U8) birth year player is welcome to register for assessments held in May.
